Hello, coders

Education opens us to a whole new world of possibilities. It is never too late to learn, but starting early might give you advantages. The earlier kids get acquainted with different occupations, the better chances they have at finding their passion and excelling at it.

That’s why macpawians have started the hello.code() project – a series of computer science lessons for schools we graduated from. We do this to get kids excited about programming and give them a fun and easy way to try it.

Coding lessons

The lessons are easy and interactive, and at the same time informative. Students can write their own code or work on creating animations. And see for themselves that programming is not rocket science, but rather a useful and engaging tool.

The MacPaw team is geographically very diverse. Our colleagues come from different regions. So returning to our alma maters gives us a chance to reach kids from all around Ukraine. We have already visited schools in five towns and cities, and that’s just the beginning.

Kids are very honest students and great teachers too. They often have a unique and fresh perspective on things. And it is so rewarding to see their eyes light up as they see the results of their work come alive on the screen! That is the next generation of the country’s IT sector, and we are honored to contribute to their learning process.
