One such possibility is the Ukrainian Emerging Leaders Program (UELP), founded in 2016. It is a 10-month training fellowship for policymakers, legal professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders of civil society organizations. The program includes academic courses, events, and community engagement as well as visits to Silicon Valley tech companies. The participants choose an issue they would like to work on and present their project at the end of the academic year. The program aims to address the development challenges Ukraine is facing.
MacPaw joined the program to help fund scholarships for the participants. By doing so, we support the agents of change working in their respective fields. The aid and attention of the Stanford community, combined with the passion and enthusiasm of Ukrainians, surely make a winning combination!
